Enhanced Activities view in HCL Connections
A valuable part of HCL Connections has always been the collaborative aspect of Activities to manage tasks and plan team resources. The new enhanced Connections Activities module is called Activities Plus and is developed by HCL together with ISW from ThreeThirds.
We are very happy to offer Activities Plus as a free entitlement for all ThreeThirds Connections customers.
Customers also have the option to upgrade to the full task management application Huddo Boards, at any time. In doing so, users will gain access to the Board (Kanban), Timeline (Gantt), and MindMap (brainstorm) views, and the full suite of task and management features included.
Intuitive interface
Activities Plus is the redeveloped Activities view for HCL Connections with a more visual, intuitive, and user-friendly interface.
The improved user experience of Activities Plus helps Connections customers to take their task productivity to the next level.
Activities Plus incorporates a more modern use of colours and explanatory icons. Drag-and-drop colour tags to cards to better apply labels and filter/sort tasks, helping you clean your workspaces and find the tasks that matter to you.
Resource Planning
Assign a task to team members by dragging and dropping a user icon onto the card. Filter tasks by clicking on a member icon in the toolbar, viewing the tasks for that member only. Get a visual overview of the workload of your team by using ‘Assignments’ and manage team resources by dragging tasks to other colleagues, instantly changing the assignment.
Unlocking the full Huddo Boards experience
Users can quickly and easily enable the full Huddo Boards experience from within Activities Plus.
The user gets instant access to all functionality, including the complete visualisation of tasks in the Boards (Kanban), Timeline (Gantt), and Mindmap (brainstorm) views. Users can work on the same projects and tasks but in an enhanced project view of their choice.

Boards View
The Kanban ‘sticky-note’ Boards view enables you to organise your tasks and teamwork any way you like. Create and drag-and-drop lists and tasks based on tasks doing, to-dos, and completed. Or organize your project in a daily, weekly, or monthly column. The choice is entirely up to you.

Sales Tracking, Event Management, Customer Support, Agile Projects, Employee Onboarding, Billing Cycles, and other Admin processes, the list is endless.
Timeline View
The Timeline view will give you the perfect overview of your tasks. Ideal for project planning and monitoring deadlines. See exactly who is working on what and when, and keep track of your project in real time. Drag and drop tasks back and forth on the timeline. Aggregate views by labels or task assignments to better manage resources.
Real-time cross-team updates
Huddo Boards updates in real-time, across multiple users. You can see the information updated from another user on your screen instantly. Or use Recent Updates to catch up on all activity since your last log in.
MindMap View
The MindMap view is a holistic view of all tasks in a project. Start on a blank canvas and build up your project, as if you had post-it notes on a whiteboard. Or simply view your established board in the MindMap view to get a complete overview of your project.
Drag-and-drop tasks into different levels
Move a task to another list, move tasks to turn them into subtasks, link subtasks to other cards, or even turns subtasks into main tasks. MindMap allows you to move tasks and associate them with other lists and cards, with simple drag-and-drop functionality.
Full sync between Activities Plus and Huddo Boards
Activities Plus offers a full sync between the Activity View, and the Boards, Timeline, and Mindmap views of Huddo Boards. Everything done in one view will translate to all other views, regardless is some users are on Activites Plus and others are on the full Huddo Boards experience. Users can collaborate on projects whilst using views of their preference.
Activities Plus is also fully integrated with Microsoft Office365 (Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Outlook) for customers that leverage the benefits of both Connections and Office365.
