A dream customer for MSP migration.
Our first migration from on premise to collab.cloud was with Westfalia. They took up the challenge to work with us being the first ones to migrate Connections from on premises to the collab.cloud platform.
A brave decision on being the “guinea pig” for our brand-new migration service, and one they did not regret.
Westfalia had been using HCL Connections for years, and wanted to continue doing so. Connections is a strategic platform for Westfalia, containing critical business data and serving as communication platform between employees of all locations in Europe, China and the US.
As Connections technically evolves and the underlaying technologies are changing, Westfalia decided to invest in training and re-training their technical staff and users on changing technologies in HCL Connections. Westfalia were after a state-of-the-art cloud package with focus on functionality, and a cost-effective technical solution to be managed by a trusted cloud vendor.
For Westfalia, a medium sized company, it was determined that the cost per user for using collab.cloud is much lower than infrastructure and training costs to keep the system on-premises. This was a great outcome for the migration, and Westfalia continues to save money using our platform.
